My name is Eric Maggio.   I was just hired as the new Senior Pastor of East Clairemont Church!   I am excited to see what God has in store for this church over the next several years. I have been in pastoral ministry since 1999.  I was licensed in 2000 and ordained in 2002.  I received my Masters of Divinity from Baylor University’s Truett Seminary in 2003.  I have been blessed to be a part of God’s work in the ministry for the past twenty years.

For the last 13 years I have been the Senior Pastor of Church at the Beach in Imperial Beach.  My wife and I planted several churches over the years including Church Without Walls in 2005 and Church at the Beach in 2008.  I also served as the Senior Pastor of “The Light Church” in Chula Vista (pictured below).  There I was in charge of preaching, Wednesday night Bible study, staff meetings, hospital visitations, weddings, funerals, baptisms, and a major renovation in a multi-staffed church. Over the last several years, we have seen growth in reaching young families, youth and children.  I have been blessed to see God work powerfully through the churches I have been involved with and look forward to seeing what He will do next.
